New HTC Wildfire Announced

Kevin

HTC has just recently announced a new model, the HTC Wildfire. The device is targeted to people who are looking for a quality budget phone which is also packed with all the current spec standards.
The HTC Wildfire has a 3.2 inch QVGA capacitive touchscreen, a Qualcomm 528 MHz Cpu with a 384 MB of RAM plus a 512 MB ROM. You’ll be able to take decent quality photos as the Wildfire will also have a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash as well stay connected with the world via Wi-Fi, GPS,3G and Bluetooth.
Now the best thing about the all new HTC Wildfire is that, it has a nice simple yet elegant design and it will also be running on the Android 2.1 OS. The Android may be in it’s early stages at the moment, but in my honest opinion, Android OS will definitely be the next big thing.
I’m a little disappointed that HTC didn’t use the Super AMOLED touch screen instead of the QVGA but hey, its a budget device so the lack of a Super AMOLED touchscreen is easily ignored.
The HTC Wildfire is reportedly to be in the European as well as the Asian market by the third quarter of this year and the device will be made available in four different colors, Black, White, Red and Brown.
Well, the HTC Wildfire may be targeted as a budget phone..I won’t expect it’s price will be easy on our budget once it’s here in Malaysia. Then again, you’ll never know.
